Lockdown easing, night out teasing
Grab a jumper, it’s bloody freezing
Shops are opening, cash tills ringing
Joyous shop keepers celebratory singing
Razors buzzing, scissors snipping
Delighted customers leave salons skipping
Gyms now open, people sweating
Lockdown weight, overindulged regretting
Schools are open, children learning
Too much screen time not so concerning
Workplaces prepping for staff returning
Water cooler moments yearning
Millions jabbed and vaccinated
But I hear trips abroad are still overrated!
